The following projects demonstrate some of the depth and variety that Camarillo Technology Associates employs to solve customer requirements:
Medsource Technologies Forecast Tracker solved a difficult task of compiling monthly sales forecasts from a national sales team with some 15 full time Sales Account Managers servicing over 10 US manufacturing facilities. In addition, management directives along with the SEC requirements for becoming a publicly traded corporation dictated that the new forecast system maintain a continuously rolling 18 month forecast data set along with extensive update and reporting capabilities. The design of Forecast Tracker allows Account Managers (SAM's) to enter and update forecasts throughout the month and allows District Controllers of Sales (DCS) to review their progress at any time. By a specified cutoff date, DCS's, having reviewed SAM forecasts will prepare forecasts for each facility. Upon each cutoff cycle, historical information for the forecast period is finalized and a new forecast period is created carrying forward the prior period's data and adding the new 18th month column to the end of the grid. In addition to sales forecasting, Gross Margin forecasts are maintained as well as collection of Actual revenues received data and the calculations of actual Gross Margins achieved. Manager and timekeeper screens are provided for on-line review of employee entered hours as well as authorizations and override transactions to those hours. On-line administrative functions allow a further override and authorization capability to assist payroll in reconciling hourly entries.
Go to top of page Admission Inquiry was developed for the PATH Corporation as a shrink-wrapped product to support the pre-screening of potential admits to sub-acute care health facilities. The project was started in 1996 to fill a need for a fully customizable system that could be configured to closely match the parameters and capabilities of each client's institution. Admission Inquiry includes facilities that model cost parameters unique to each institution and track payer contracts over time including fixed and individually negotiated exclusions. Clinical screening is provided via a set of fully customize-able warning messages that are used to alert operators of required planning events, conditions that would preclude admission and situations where administrative authorization is required.Admission Inquiry has generated OEM and end-user sales of over $1,000,000. Go to top of page Pursuit CM was developed for the PharMerica Corporation as a logical follow-on to the Admission Inquiry product originally developed for PATH Corporation. Pursuit CM provides ongoing financial analysis of admits in sub-acute care hospitals as admit conditions and financial reimbursements change or become subject to negotiations. The product provides almost instantaneous monitoring of financial trends and allows management to quickly react before a financial downturn becomes a critical issue.A unique Point-In-Time processing algorithm allows users to enter only data that has been changed per specified time periods. The process of only updating changed data greatly simplifies maintenance while increasing accuracy of the results. Reporting includes a Daily Financial summary for administrators to track overall trends by admit. The Current Case Summary shows all details for a Case by a range of dates and includes a variety of summary and Case statistics. Detail data may be saved in spreadsheet format for additional financial modeling and what-if analyses. Pursuit CM Screen Shot:

A custom interface was designed for the OFF System that guides the interviewers through the survey in a logical and consistent manner. Depending on the ages and genders of recipients and dependents, several different variations of survey questions are possible. In addition, the answers to some sections of the survey will engender different sets of follow up questions. Since the predominant languages used by recipients are either English or Spanish, the application was designed to appear in the language of choice by retrieving either English or Spanish text from a message table in the database.
